Memorial Day weekend

We have made a major change in our site. Many categories have changed, and many items have changed categories. We have some new ones such as combining the various fabric colors into one called fabrics - by the yard, and new ones segregating by type, such as indigo country, chirimen, tsumugi, and yukata.We still have fabric packets.

There is now a new category called gifts where we have items suitable for giving others. Another new category is collectibles - vintage where we put many unusual items we find that are not necessarily new, but often antique. Some are fabrics, some figurines, some clothing, or whatever. Many items from our own collection will be found in here.

Yet another new category is kits where we'll put several kits we've never shown before. Watch for new items here from time to time.

There is a new category for sales & discounts.It is pretty empty at the moment, but our plans are to fill it with everything that is on sale or discounted as the name implies. Check back from time to time for something at a great price.

What else is new?

We have just put in many new indigo items (in the indigo country category). We have usually had a few but now there are many--some from Africa, too.

Also new is chirimen (in its category). These are for crafters or quilters who want that special fabric in small quantities. There are many to see.

A fabric that is not seen much in America is tsumugi. We now have a category just for it that you probably won't find elsewhere.

We just placed lots of kimono pieces in the packets category. There are many different sizes and some duplicates of fabrics, but all are beautiful!

Just looking around should keep you busy and interested for a while. Hope you enjoy the new look.
